MONEY Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member-owned, and democratically operated financial institution dedicated to satisfying the many financial needs of our members. Unlike banks that are strictly profit-driven, we return excess earnings to our members in the form of lower interest rates for loans, higher yields on investment and savings accounts, and through the addition of new financial products and services.

Founded in 1976
MONEY Federal Credit Union was founded in 1976 by Mutual of New York Life Insurance Company (MONY) employees who wanted an alternative to the high costs at commercial institutions. We now serve more than 4,000 members from all over the world.


Who Is Eligible To Open an Account?

• Any person who lives, works, or attends school in Onondaga, Oswego, Cayuga or Madison County
• If you have an immediate family member who already has an account with MONEY FCU
• Businesses or other legal entities located in any of the counties mentioned above
